Your Next Step

Baptism, Prayer & Connection

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”

James 4:8 NKJV

Good News

God So Loved You

Everything starts here. Before any class, ministry, or Sunday service, there's one verse that sums up why we exist.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 NKJV

Being saved means trusting Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, to make us right with God. It isn't earned by being good enough. It's a gift you receive by faith (Ephesians 2:8–9). And the word “whoever” means it's for you, wherever you're coming from.

1

Believe

God loves you and sent His Son so you could have everlasting life. Trust that Jesus is who He says He is (John 3:16).

2

Confess

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

3

Receive

“As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12). Welcome to the family.

Just Gave Your Life to Christ?

We'd love to celebrate with you. At St. John's, we offer an 8-week New Converts Class, one hour a week, to help you settle into your new life in Christ and become grounded in your faith. Let us know and we'll reach out personally about the next class.

Baptism

Baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ, an outward picture of the new life He gives (Romans 6:4). If you're ready, or you just have questions, we'd love to walk with you.

What It Means

Baptism doesn't save you. It shows the world that Jesus already has. It's a joyful moment of obedience, celebrated with your church family.

Who It's For

Anyone who has put their trust in Jesus and wants to follow Him publicly, whether you're new to faith or have walked with Him for years.

How to Get Started

Use the form below and check "Ask about baptism," or speak with Pastor LeeArtis after any Sunday service. We'll reach out to talk it through and plan your day.
